big, relaxing weekend

so it was a long week, even though I did only work three days LoL. Guess 12 tubes of blood, sonograms, the news being completely public, tummy rubs & work can do that to a girl. but this weekend is all about me & what I would like (so my beloved* says) for it is my beeday & mother's day & apparently expecting mothers can celebrate & get presents too! yay. I honestly am looking forward to this weekend so much, relaxation baby! that is all I would like. My weekend actually began today; mani/pedi with Kaiti & Ryan (thank you for my expecting mom card & rose Kaiti) lunch & hanging with my beloved* tonight. We were suppose to be at the Red Sox game but long story short StubHub "doesn't guarantee" tickets, so we will be hanging out & going to see wolverine, nice toss up relaxing night! Then tomorrow is my actual beeday! yay. I have already received two presents; my beloved* got me tickets to see my most favorite band since forever The Offspring & Kolleen, Aidan, & Jeff gave me the cutest cupcake card (thank you guys)! I heart cupcakes & she knows it = ) tomorrow will be filled with sleeping in, cake, Margaritas (the restaurant not the drink LoL) and not sure after that but my beloved* says I get to pick what we do! I am stoked about Margaritas because up until now my first trimester has been kind of tough, nothing to complain about but I wasn't able to eat my usual favorite foods & I am now able to eat them & I get my Margaritas! Yay. Also, my dearest Val will be coming up too for cake, or to my moms location has yet to be decided. And then Sunday is Mother's Day, I believe we will venture down to Boston tomorrow & pass out mother's day presents then so me, expecting mom & our moms can just hang at home with our feet up & relax. Sounds good to me, a phone with loves should be good enough, we did see them the day before LoL we will see. But I am off for now, time to re-start the rest of my relaxation weekend. ciao* fellow bloggers.

Not much.

So, it's been about a week my dear blog. WoW it has been a very eventful, news filled, lots of excitement, nervousness, & just overall 'wow' But I will get into details at a later time, not an open book but this is something that will be known eventually to all, but no need for it now. But onto other things. Hhhm. All is well here; Boston is starting to slowly warm up, the snow is almost all gone, baseball season is almost here, and the economy is hurting us but not killing us! Which is phenomenal! I understand everyone is under lots of pressure & stress worrying about their financial situation, trust me I am as well, but if you have a job, have food, shelter & loved ones I think you're golden I know I am! We can't have it all right, I'd prefer food, shelter & lots of love than lots of money, of course all of the above would be nice but they say 'you can't have your cake & eat it too' so I like the cake I have. 

I don't really have much to say & I am rather tired, but I am here news is coming (rather exciting news) & looking for some topics to blog about. Altho I believe once my fellow bloggers are back, no names (kaiti, kolleen, & jaime) I will read theirs & get ideas, that's basically how it works. Seem everyone is on vacation lately! I am jumping on the "post secret" bandwagon. (( being that bored at work, I need something to do right now )) So this week, next week are insane for me. We are missing a person here at work & just having a person poof into thin air we have a lot of shifts to cover so I am doing a bunch as well a few other girls here. So please excuse my absence. But here are my favorite post secrets.

That is all for today. Not much to say; been working, sleeping, hanging with my beloved* whenever we get the time together & oh wait! I did go to my friend Val's wedding shower & that was lots of fun! Insane, two friends getting married this year wow! Who's next?

Tag!

So my parents, about I don't even know 3 years ago, while I was in college & my brother was off doing whatever he was doing at 18 came up with this game called 'tag you're it' sounds pretty normal but there it is not! I ensure you! There are rules, that no one seems to follow, it should be fun but people are turning this into a war! LoL Before I jump ahead of myself allow me explain the game, then I will give you the situation that happened yesterday & then of course my bantering.

The game of 'Tag! You're It' are as follows :: ( kaiti pay attention! you will be my co-organizer )
1. You must call a person, allow them to do their normal greeting 'hi, hello, what'
2. Scream as loud as you can (while being understandable) 'Tag You're It Bitch!" Proceed to hang up
3. The person that was then called must (of course they'll laugh, if not do it anyways) then call another person doing the same thing, continuing the cycle.

Now the rules are simple, and MUST be followed::
1. You can not answer your phone 'tag you're it' you must answer in your normal format
2. You can not screen your calls & then proceed to call that person right back to tag them first, in that cause the person that originally called can tag them even tho they technically were called.
3. You can not tag thru text messages.
4. You can not call the person that called you back, you need to call someone new & 'no tag backs' are automatic so they do not need to be said!

So those are the rules & the games' order! I personally think it is rather easy (and pretty common sense it you've ever played a regular game of tag before) but somehow some people just run willy nilly and do whatever they please! Ppppft. Screw that!

Now the situation that occured yesterday is that I got ridiculously bored at work yesterday (working 15 hours & slow as hell you could go insane) so I call my dear friend Kaiti & scream "tag you're it" now I was so excited to start this up again she probably couldn't even understand what I was saying so she calls me back and I answer and she is just laughing none stop 'what did you just say' and of course I give her a fast recap of the game & she passes it on & long story short it ends up being an attack on me! No one following the rules of this game & just utter caos! So this morning I am posting, texting, sending out memos to everyone involved the rules! And they will be followed! It's a hilarious game, just randomly getting a phone call, hearing someone scream 'tag you're it' then trying to find the next victim! Uh I personally love it!

Long Wknd

So here's to a long weekend! Woohoo. Turns out that I have five days off beginning tonight at 11p I will not have to think about work, get up early for work, and my beloved* is off as well & it's his birthday this weekend! So Exciting! We have lots going on this weekend & then come Monday morning nothing but hanging out & just enjoying each other's company & love. AND! My friend Kaiti again somehow has the five days off too, so awesome! This is twice we've both accidently gotten a number of days off, wicked awesome! So I hopefully ( if things go as I plan them in my head LoL ) I will not be online much if at all this weekend. So I hope everyone has a wonderful & happy weekend!

Kids Xmas Party.

So this weekend Kaiti, Ryan & I had a Kids Xmas Party where the kids were suppose to help us make ornaments for the house/tree and it ended up being they loved the whole pulling everything out making the mess but did not have the attention span or desire to put then millions of tiny black dots on eyes & etc. so it turned out being Kaiti, Ryan & Jen's Xmas Ornament Party which LoL actually turned out very well because we were all into it. Until, the bagel bites came out of the oven & Sex and the City came on tv (that was after looking for anything Christmas to watch/listen to) then it turned into Ryan alone! But it was a blast kids had a blast hanging out, we did a lot of ornaments & then hung out after, which we have not done in literally forever looked thru old pictures, our yearbook, drank some good wine & just laughed the damn night away. LoL But this weekend was highly productive yet got nothing done LoL don't know how I managed that one, but this upcoming week is going to be crazy. Last full week before Christmas still a few people to shop for & working a crazii amount of hours! WooHoo overtime! So here are some candids from our fabulous Christmas party on Saturday. Enjoy!

I Triple Dog Dare You!

I triple dog dare you! LoL the lovely Lisa just said that to another girl at work here LoL hilarious! How long has it been since someone had said that to/near you? LoL I love it. I swear my job isn't a really job, it's a place where we come, dressed in 'uniforms' joke around, run around the hotel & literally laugh our asses off all day! LoL love my job! But . . to the blogging! So after my horrible, mortifying, long, painful, embarrassing week I finally enjoyed myself to the fullest on Saturday. It was my oldest friend Kaiti's beeday and of course we had to go out & have a blast regardless of how shitty our own weeks were! and man did we! We went to Bisuteki Japanese Steakhouse in Revere where I swear to god we had the most absolute best time & then went back to Cheryl's house, momma of the McG clan. Somehow I managed to stay up & out until 3.30a, stunning I know! And I became an honorary McG! FABULOUS! Bam chicka bam waw. I went home to my beloved* finally on Sunday & it was so good to see, hug & kiss him again. Not seeing the love of your life in a week is so hard! Super excited, after a horrible, miserible week could things get any better? Now it's Monday afternoon & I am back to work & feeling great. Absolutely great! LaLa . .onto Christmas! Seriously slacking in that area, doing the tree this week, wrapping the fabulous gift I already have my beloved* & doing Aidan's Christmas shopping this week . . at some point LoL not exactly sure when. Super excited! OH! AND ontop of all the fabulous-ness our anniversary for being together for a year is in between Christmas & New Years, uh! Life is good! Well bloggers, we have a machine here in the office that is absolutely ridiculously loud & I can not think so I am off for now, ciao*

Day No 10 :: Re-Do

So due to the graphic nature of my last two blogs I am blogging again today with a more positive attitude & feel. The Holiday Season is coming! Whoopie. Myself & Kim just left the Dollar Tree, where the fabulous Kaiti works, went for a little visit, MISS YOU! But we went there and Christmas is all over the place! (we live with two boys which are serious procrastinators & overall slackers in certain areas) so we are taking it upon ourselves (with lots of excitement) to decorate the place ourselves. My beloved* is helping pick out the tree, set it up & take it down, so they are helping just not with the, what they call, girly aspect of it. So we saw a bunch of stuff that we had to have! Cool bells for the doors, stain glass Christmas designs for the patio glass doors, fun stockings to hang on the wall, & just stuff upon stuff we wanted. And of course wandering through the rest of the store we see wine glasses we want (both serious wine lovers, Gee even brought a wine rack with him how awesome is he), fun Christmas mugs, tablecloths, plates, just a million different things all over the store we wanted. So that is some serious excitement ahead for us! But in light of talking about Christmas the topic of the boys' work holiday party came up, now you must understand when I say they entire McG clan works there, I mean it! Family members, friends, people who are friends but honorary family now I honestly believe half of the place if not more of the place is McG clan people. It's nuts how many of them work there! But of course Kaiti is a sister, daughter, cousin, niece to all of these people & not "date material" but of course we will get her in somehow, someway! Worse comes to worse her sister will just have to take her as her date & get over it, take one for the team Ryan, just take one for the team! But Saturday my dear friend Val & I went shopping crazii, bought some winter coats, hats and clothes (that of course we didn't really need) but I came a cross a really pretty dress I wanted for the party, but of course one was left & not in my size! Boo! So I went online & there is no such dress on the website! WTF. So I browse some other websites and came across two really cool dresses I like, and they are even cheaper than the original one I wanted. So to begin the Holiday Season (LoL) I will start with my dress choices for the boys' work holiday party, I got to try and be hotter than everyone else, despite who shows up & how hot they really are, I got to try!
