Seriously Delayed

So our Christmas was just fabulous! Sorry for the major delay but I was actually on vacation & did a lot of nothing, sleeping & movie watching. But I am here this morning & our Christmas was fabulous. We saw everyone we wanted to see on either sides of our families, spent the day with Aidan & he was just stoked all day! He saw cousins, aunts, papa & gama. We took him to my families house which had two other kids he knew & they had a blast; gifts galore, good food everywhere, & lots of love! Just a great day. Hope everyone else's' holiday (whatever it may be) was just absolutely fabulous! Here are a few pictures from my new blackberry! Very exciting. Here's to the New Year, 2009 should be fabulous nothing but good things to happen to all of us, LoL because everything bad that was to happen pretty much did in 2008.
Oh & the 'more news' on my beloved*s Christmas present 1. I got my reaction! (lots of people said I wouldn't, I did!) 2. It was a vintage record player & a few records. He loved it. I will even quote him here 'you are the best giver ever!' Oh yeah baby! How you like them apples?

So being snowed in today, at my parents! I have a lot of time on my hands. (well do have to take breaks to continue the shoveling, salting show) but I felt like today would be a good day to do a fun blog! I figured today I would do an overview of 2008, for me it was a crazii, wacky, fun, loving, & full of lessons year! How was your year? • 5 years later still in a war to help "protect" and "limit violence" yet we are still bombing in their neighborhoods.
  • Bush is out of office!

Entertainment:

  • The New Kids on the Block are back!
  • Tom Cruise lost his sh!t on national television, LoL
  • Madonna & Guy Ritchie are over!
  • Britney Spears is back!
  • We lost the extremely talented & gorgeous father, son, man Heath Ledger
  • Batman :: The Dark Knight came out!

News:

  • Gas prices raised the highest we've ever seen them go.
  • Price of cigarettes & liquor went up, hell everything went up!

Here To Stay

So the snow is here, and it is to stay! BAH! We got about a total of 10 inches of snow in the past 24 hours, and shockingly! it's still snowing! Nothin severe or even enough to have us (who have dealt with this storm all night long) to consider actual snow, looks like the wind is blowing snow off of roofs. And there's another one on it's way! Super! Luckily though when these 3-6" fall I will be safe & warm at home this time around & not at work with soaked feet, shoveling snow & salting the sidewalk! That makes me seriously happy. Hope those of you who either had the day off or left work early got to enjoy the weather in whatever way you felt fit. I have successfully finished 97% of my Christmas shopping done! YaY! Maybe it was the over-tiredness, & complete disarray of myself all day but I was in & out of stores like I was a PA or something! All that is left is my beloved* & I needing to pick up a few thing for his lil man Aidan, a few gift cards for our parents & I need a few things for his stocking! And I am done! All of which will be done in two stops, one of which will be our church & savior Dunkin Donuts so that I personally don't consider a "stop" more of a 'God thank you for this fabulous invention & inventor of the cocoa bean!' LoL Hope everyone has their Holiday shopping done or almost done because if you are in this area, not only are there only 4 shopping days left but the weather is absolute horrible & the roads are ridiculous! But my dearest/oldest friend Val has got me a fabulous four-set of wine glasses, very colorful just how I like everything I own! And the coolest new pair of slipper socks so I am off to bath./soak in a hot tub with a yummy glass of wine & maybe a magazine or book, my beloved* has given me a bunch of books to read I just can't get myself to sit long enough to get through a chapter. So fellow bloggers enjoy the snow, stay warm & toasty & enjoy the last weekend before Christmas! Because it is going to get absolutely insane around here & very quickly. Ciao bellas*

SNOW DAY!

I personally miss the meaning of a "snow day" from when we were kids, it does not mean the same at all anymore! It know means taking care of things & not just pretending to help shovel or whatever other task our parents had to do outside. We'd run around throw snow balls, make snow angels, & just enjoy while our parents were in pure misery! LoL The tables are now turned and we are the "adults" or "parents" and I am not enjoying the other side of the table let me tell you! Here in Boston there is a huge storm coming, hell! I think it has affected most of America?! Am I wrong by saying this? I speak to people at work from Chicago & Detriot & even one girl from the Virgina, South Carolina area & she says it may get bad there? Vegas & Seattle got snow! Craziiness. It started out as just going to be 6-10' total now between today & tomorrow they are saying, and I quote the fabulous whdh.com my love of the news information, "TODAY" Clouds roll in this morning. Snow arrives around 1-2pm. Heavy snow is likely from 3pm until about 10 or 11pm. Most areas will pick up about 5-8" of snow through the day and evening. NE wind picking up and becoming gusty. Watch for blowing snow. Nantucket and the eastern Cape could changeover to sleet and freezing rain for a period today. TONIGHT: An additional 2-4" of snow is possible overnight before tapering off early Saturday morning. Still gusty. SATURDAY: Snow showers could linger along the coast and the Cape through much of the day. Estimated snowfall totals are in the special map above. Highs will only be in the mid 20s." Now the special map says most of Mass is in the gray color & that color equals 8-12' then there's a smaller portioin (potentially over the Boston area) Higher Amounts? Okay okay people! I love the snow, in small doses! None of this inches upon inches crap or so much I need to shovel my car for an hour before I can even get in it! And there's another storm coming Sunday "Another wallop of a storm. Snow showers are likely, especially outside of 128 and another 6+" of snow is possible. Looks like rain will try to mix in along the coast. We're watching because this storm could trend colder." HA! Another 6 inches! Welcome to New England people, whoever asked Santa for a white Christmas you got it!

So keep warm, put a pair of extra socks in your pockets or bags (trust me you'll want/need them), grab yourself an extra energy drink for the day & wear layers because it is going to be a long, long weekend! And for those of you who won't be working, enjoy it! For the others working I feel you're pain man! Going in today at 3p right when the storm begins & leaving tomorrow at 7a right when it probably will wrap itself up! YaY! Happy Friday. Good luck finishing Christmas shopping!

Righteous People

So this morning I am just wondering, why is that some people feel the need to let us all know that 'they try everyday to be a good person, do the right thing & right by everyone' Now my question is, why do you feel the need to tell us, and often? Now I may be nieve here thinking that, um! all people don't really want to do bad to others. I may be completely wrong here & have no idea what I'm talking about, maybe there are people (starting to believe this myself) that wake up in the morning with this whole sceme to make other peoples' day sh!t. But I honestly don't feel that people go out there & want to do others harm or bad. I mean I don't wake up in the morning & do the whole evil fist thing, laughing an evil laugh with crazii ideas in my head on how to make anothers' day horrid. I am a strong believer of karma, so I feel that if I purposely do someone wrong, I am going to get it back ten fold. I mean we all have our issues, and somehow make anothers day bad but something we said or did but they're accidental and we apologize & things are usually good after that. But why do some people feel the need to tell us every chance they get that they are out to do people good, want to be a good person & do nothing but pick dandilions & spread peace & joy around the world? Seriously, it's impossible. No one can do that everyday of their entire life! And the people that are preaching this crap are usually the dumb-witted people who don't think before they speak or do things & not realize that they affect more than just themselves by these stupid careless actions. Now I know I've been told by many people not to worry about things that don't affect me, but that's the thing it does! There are people who I have to deal with either at work, in my personal life or somehow these assh0les maneuver their ways into both! my work & personal lives. I have done honestly nothing to these people, said nothing period about any of them (if there was anything I learned when I was younger was to keep your head high & mouth shut) I may be a lot of things but a sh!t talker is def not one of them! And I honestly find it so sad because these people are so vengeful & angry when I have done nothing, said nothing, I have tried to make peace & then how am I returned the favor, tried to get sh!t out of me & then have people do horrible nasty things & then preach 'I'm a good person, I do right by everyone, I did nothing to you, this is all your fault' okay seriously! It takes two to tango! So I couldn't have completely done this on my own you did contribute in some way! thanks! for being an adult and at least admitting that. Well I have gone completely off topic, but one honestly co-insides with the other, I think. But I feel that is enough today & back to 'work' and the snow/slush we have going on here today. Maybe I will blog again later with my loverlys or smileys, maybe that's what we all need. Everyone is stressed from the holiday season & the horrible changes going on, maybe everyone needs a little pick me up! Ciao* fellow bloggers.

Wall St/Main St

I never understood the whole "Wall St meets Main St" thing everyone was talking about at first but I get it now. And I everyday check whdh.com and upon looking at the weather (fyi it's going to snow here in Boston) I come across an article Mass. to spend $8M to help end homelessness okay, not that I want people to continue to be homeless, especially in this crazii weather but where is this money coming from? I thought our economy was sh!t. And the whole $700B for Wall Street, seriously? Where are we getting this money from? I went to the grocery store picked up a few items, less than 12 here people & it came to $35!! $35 for a taco kit, chicken, cheese, a small carton of ice cream, bread, 12-pack of soda, & one of those pre-made salads in a bag!! Seriously. Yes, gas is cheaper thank the Lord for that because with my 30-45 minute ride to/from work everyday I am seriously thankful for that but we are paying for it everywhere. Food, cigarettes, liquor, everything else is going up! And ontop of us paying more out of our pockets they are just coming out of no where with these millions & billions to help save Wall Street & Main Street. Okay, I don't completely get the whole "Wall Street" thing & I have no stocks in anything so maybe I don't get it but I do completely understand getting the homeless off the streets and into warm houses. But where are we pulling this money from? Why not stop "pretending" to have sales & have special one time offers & just lower prices for the average American. Well I just wanted to comment on that article I saw, it is at whdh.com if anyone wanted to read into it & there is also a lot of information on the ice storm we just had a few days ago here in New England. But that is all I have for today, I should probably get back to my internet holiday shopping because I am pushing deadlines on getting everything on time! Ciao*
Here are some fun images I found while doing my "holiday shopping"

Kids Xmas Party.

So this weekend Kaiti, Ryan & I had a Kids Xmas Party where the kids were suppose to help us make ornaments for the house/tree and it ended up being they loved the whole pulling everything out making the mess but did not have the attention span or desire to put then millions of tiny black dots on eyes & etc. so it turned out being Kaiti, Ryan & Jen's Xmas Ornament Party which LoL actually turned out very well because we were all into it. Until, the bagel bites came out of the oven & Sex and the City came on tv (that was after looking for anything Christmas to watch/listen to) then it turned into Ryan alone! But it was a blast kids had a blast hanging out, we did a lot of ornaments & then hung out after, which we have not done in literally forever looked thru old pictures, our yearbook, drank some good wine & just laughed the damn night away. LoL But this weekend was highly productive yet got nothing done LoL don't know how I managed that one, but this upcoming week is going to be crazy. Last full week before Christmas still a few people to shop for & working a crazii amount of hours! WooHoo overtime! So here are some candids from our fabulous Christmas party on Saturday. Enjoy!

10 years later I still kick her ass.
And yet again!
This would be my victory dance & teaching of the old school dances to the kids.

Yeah there was three of them yet I still won! WaHaHa.
Some of the ornaments we made! Rockin.
Some of the mess we made!
Aidan & Hai being rockstars!
Hai, Aidan & Jason in their family band.
And there they are rockin out!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend & here's looking up to the last full shopping week before Christmas; lots of people, sales & craziiness all around keep the cold drinks close!
