SNOW DAY!

I personally miss the meaning of a "snow day" from when we were kids, it does not mean the same at all anymore! It know means taking care of things & not just pretending to help shovel or whatever other task our parents had to do outside. We'd run around throw snow balls, make snow angels, & just enjoy while our parents were in pure misery! LoL The tables are now turned and we are the "adults" or "parents" and I am not enjoying the other side of the table let me tell you! Here in Boston there is a huge storm coming, hell! I think it has affected most of America?! Am I wrong by saying this? I speak to people at work from Chicago & Detriot & even one girl from the Virgina, South Carolina area & she says it may get bad there? Vegas & Seattle got snow! Craziiness. It started out as just going to be 6-10' total now between today & tomorrow they are saying, and I quote the fabulous whdh.com my love of the news information, "TODAY" Clouds roll in this morning. Snow arrives around 1-2pm. Heavy snow is likely from 3pm until about 10 or 11pm. Most areas will pick up about 5-8" of snow through the day and evening. NE wind picking up and becoming gusty. Watch for blowing snow. Nantucket and the eastern Cape could changeover to sleet and freezing rain for a period today. TONIGHT: An additional 2-4" of snow is possible overnight before tapering off early Saturday morning. Still gusty. SATURDAY: Snow showers could linger along the coast and the Cape through much of the day. Estimated snowfall totals are in the special map above. Highs will only be in the mid 20s." Now the special map says most of Mass is in the gray color & that color equals 8-12' then there's a smaller portioin (potentially over the Boston area) Higher Amounts? Okay okay people! I love the snow, in small doses! None of this inches upon inches crap or so much I need to shovel my car for an hour before I can even get in it! And there's another storm coming Sunday "Another wallop of a storm. Snow showers are likely, especially outside of 128 and another 6+" of snow is possible. Looks like rain will try to mix in along the coast. We're watching because this storm could trend colder." HA! Another 6 inches! Welcome to New England people, whoever asked Santa for a white Christmas you got it!

So keep warm, put a pair of extra socks in your pockets or bags (trust me you'll want/need them), grab yourself an extra energy drink for the day & wear layers because it is going to be a long, long weekend! And for those of you who won't be working, enjoy it! For the others working I feel you're pain man! Going in today at 3p right when the storm begins & leaving tomorrow at 7a right when it probably will wrap itself up! YaY! Happy Friday. Good luck finishing Christmas shopping!
